Finally a Polymer Coated .22 Long Rifle Sub Sonic Projectile Which Reduces Lead Fouling in the Barrel Without Residue
Federal has dabbled with this particular cartridge over the last few years in limited edition holiday packs but due to the popularity they have moved it into full production. You asked and Federal answered with CCI Clean-22 Sub Sonic ammunition. This particular load features a 40 grain lead round nose projectile which has had a polymer coating applied to it. The primary benefit of the polymer coating greatly reduces lead fouling in the barrel without leaving residue. Additionally this can cut lead buildup in suppressors for up to 60 to 80 percent while providing reliable function in semi-automatic firearms. This load is ideal for both casual and competitive shooters alike.
